NB The Variety for Charity Season is one of many ways that The Lions Club of Basingstoke raise funds for good causes. There is an annual Swimathon on March 3, a Charity Cycle Ride in the summer and 2 Quiz Nights each year.
All these events require manpower which is in short supply. However they are fun to organise and it is a meaningful use of time. Anyone wishing to help or even better wanting to join our organisation will always be most welcome. More information about The Lions on the club website www.basingstokelions.org.uk
